Pixie was nicknamed “Pixie” by her mother because she was such a small and cute baby. Growing up, she attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, where she honed her singing and performing skills. She started her professional career at a young age, singing on demos for established artists and working behind the scenes before stepping into the spotlight herself.

Pixie’s debut album, “Turn It Up,” released in 2009, was a commercial success, featuring a string of hits such as “Mama Do,” “Boys and Girls,” and “Cry Me Out.” The album cemented her as a pop sensation in the UK, blending upbeat, danceable tracks with soulful ballads.
