Directions From Herefordshire To Alderfest In Whitchurch

For Herefordshire families, AlderFest is a hassle-free option when it comes to getting here. There is clear signage directing you to the festival site. There’s also plenty of on-site parking, so you can park up and head straight into the fun.

If you prefer public transport, Whitchurch train station is just a short taxi ride away from the festival grounds. Or hop on our free shuttle bus taking you straight to the gates.

Travelling By Car

Start in Hereford town centre
Take the A49 north towards Leominster and Ludlow
Continue on the A49 through Ludlow and Craven Arms, then follow signs for Shrewsbury
Before reaching Shrewsbury, join the A41 south towards Whitchurch
As you approach Whitchurch, look for signs directing you to Alderford Lake
Turn off the A41 and follow the local signs to AlderFest
