Step 1: Head Out of Shrewsbury
Start your journey by getting onto the A528 from Shrewsbury town center. Follow signs for the A528 Ellesmere Road, which will take you north out of Shrewsbury.
Step 2: Continue on A528
Stay on the A528 for approximately 11 miles. You’ll pass through the picturesque countryside and several small villages along the way.
Step 3: Turn onto B5063
After about 11 miles on the A528, you’ll reach the village of Cockshutt. Here, take a right turn onto the B5063, following signs for Whitchurch.
Step 4: Continue Towards Whitchurch
Follow the B5063 for around 7 miles. The road will lead you directly towards Whitchurch.
Step 5: Arrive in Whitchurch
As you enter Whitchurch, follow the signs to the Alderfest festival grounds, which will be clearly marked. There will be parking available at the festival, with attendants to guide you to your spot.
